Senior pranks gone awry

Some of you may have read this morning’s article about a senior class prank that didn’t turn out exactly as planned.

The 50-cent version: Nyack High School senior class had permission to go into the school, take the desks out and shape them into a “2008” on the school lawn. Someone allegedly came back later and moved them around to form the shape of a penis.

The students had permission from the school to go in after hours and get the desks, the Clarkstown police department tells us, so it seems unlikely they would have then done something so silly that could possibly endanger a senior class trip or other amusements planned for what remains of the school year.

But we all remember last year’s senior prank at Hendrick Hudson High School, where students bought 67 alarm clocks and planted them throughout the school, triggering a bomgb scare the next morning.

Charges were filed, students had to perform community service and miss graduation, chaos ensued.

What other senior pranks do you know of have gone as planned or blew up fabulously in the pranksters’ faces?
