Brian Stephen Bush, 19, was arrested Dec. 10 and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, said Mount Kisco Police Chief Steven Anderson.
He’s expected to appear in Mount Kisco court Thursday.
Bush, who lives in Mount Kisco, is accused of illegally possessing the gun that was brought to the school on Dec. 5.
Kaitlyn Fosse, 17, is accused of having the semi-automatic pistol in a class at the Bedford high school.
Fosse, a 17-year-old Mount Kisco resident, is facing her own felony gun possession charge in Bedford Town Court. She appeared in court last week and was ordered to undergo a substance abuse and psychological evaluation.
School district officials have said the gun was found when several students’ backpacks were searched after a loud noise disrupted a class. The sound was not a gunshot, educators said, but they haven’t been able to say what made the noise.
Fosse has said the weapon belonged to another person who doesn’t attend Fox Lane, according to Superintendent Jere Hochman. Administrators reportedly told parents that Fosse said she was holding it for her boyfriend.
No one was home this afternoon at Bush’s 40 Moore Ave. address.
