The Westchester/Putnam region of the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association has named its 2013 Administrator of the Year: Theresa Sullivan, principal of Greenvale Elementary School in Eastchester.
And: “Greenvale School has become a model for character education through our PRIDE program as well as academic success. Theresa’s efforts have resulted in Greenvale being honored for its successes both on the national and state levels.”
Sullivan has been principal of Greenvale for 15 years. Before that, she was principal of another Eastchester school, Anne Hutchinson Elementary.
A release from the administrators group said of Sullivan: “Her positive and supportive leadership style inspires teachers to achieve their best in order to help all students succeed.”
