State Education Commissioner John King will hold a second public forum on the Common Core Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Port Chester Middle School auditorium, the district announced Friday afternoon.
The forum is open to anyone interested in attending.
Before the commissioner speaks, individuals will have the opportunity to make statements during a period of about 90 minutes.
People wishing to address the forum must sign up in advance by calling District Clerk Yvette Segal at (914) 934-7922 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday. They also can sign up in the lobby outside of the PCMS auditorium between 3:30 – 4 p.m. on Monday.
Individuals who sign up to speak will receive a number in the order they have signed up. Speakers will be called to the podium by number and will have two minutes at the microphone.

Port Chester Middle School is located at 113 Bowman Ave.
Assemblyman Steve Otis, D-Rye, and Harry Phillips, the local rep on the state Board of Regents, will also be in attendance.
