Mr. Michael Jumper, Assistant Superintendent for Business, will serve as the Acting Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education will interview search consultants to assist in the recruitment of a new Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Jumper has fulfilled this role in the past, having served as Acting Superintendent from February, 2011 through July 1, 2011.“The Board of Education and Superintendent have irreconcilable differences with regard to the vision for and day-to-day leadership of the school district,” said Board of Education President Charles Day. “We thank Paul for his contributions over the past two-and-a-half years, and wish him well in his future endeavors.”Because the Board is ending its employment with the Superintendent effective immediately, the Board will pay Dr. Kreutzer $90,000 as a buyout of the existing portion of his contract in order to avoid litigation.

There are no other monies due to Dr. Kreutzer as a result of this agreement.”
